Postpartum Restore
By the end of the program, participants often report:
- Improved core and pelvic floor coordination
- Increased strength without fear of leaking or pressure
- Better posture, breathing, and movement awareness
- Reduced aches in the back, hips, and pelvis
- Confidence returning to workouts and daily activities
- Feeling supported, educated, and empowered
This is a wellness-based, physical therapist-led group program, not one-on-one medical physical therapy. The program focuses on guided movement, education, and safe return to exercise after birth rather than diagnosing or treating specific medical conditions. Because it is a group wellness program, insurance is not billed. If you feel you need individualized care or have more complex symptoms, we can always discuss whether private pelvic physical therapy would be more appropriate for you.
You are absolutely welcome here.
The program supports both vaginal and Cesarean births and includes strategies to help restore core strength, improve abdominal coordination, and safely rebuild movement after surgery. Exercises are introduced gradually with modifications so you can progress at a pace that respects your healing process.
Leaking, pressure, or heaviness are very common postpartum experiences, and many women feel unsure how to exercise safely when these symptoms occur. In this program we focus on pelvic floor coordination, breathing mechanics, and pressure management so that you can strengthen your body without worsening symptoms. If your symptoms are more significant or persistent, we may recommend combining the group program with individualized pelvic physical therapy for additional support.
Yes, babies are welcome.
We understand childcare can be a challenge in the postpartum period. As long as your baby is not yet mobile and can stay safely with you during the session, you are welcome to bring them along. We simply ask that participants are comfortable stepping out briefly if their baby needs attention so the class can continue smoothly.
Life with a new baby can be unpredictable, so occasional absences are understandable. The program is designed to progress from week to week, but if you miss a session we will help guide you on how to safely continue with the next class. While make-up sessions are not guaranteed due to the small-group structure, we do our best to provide guidance so you can stay on track.
If you’re unsure whether this group program is the right next step in your recovery, we’re happy to help. You can reach out with your questions or schedule a brief consultation so we can guide you toward the option that best supports your postpartum recovery.
